We are a family based business located on the outskirts of Orangeville just 45 minutes outside of Toronto. We care for our animals on our 30 acre farm. During events the weather can have a major impact on the well-being of our animals, depending on the day and location of our event. With the health and wellness of our animals being our top priority, we make certain that our animals are well fed, hydrated, and have the proper necessities throughout the day.
We are having difficulty putting into words everything that has happened with the fire at the Turda farms household last night. All of our family members are safe and all of our animals in the barn as well. We have an indoor/outdoor cat at the household which we haven’t been able to locate yet. She’s a spayed small tabby cat, with a white mark on her chest. We are hoping she wasn’t in the house at the time and ask that neighbours keep an eye out for her.
Words cannot describe how grateful and thankful our family is to have such amazing neighbours, friends, and community in this difficult time. We would also like to thank the EMS, OPP and all the firefighters involved for everything they have done.
