Join us at Turda Farms for a summer camp full of fun starting July 8th for kids 5-12 years old. The camp will run Monday to Friday 9:00am to 3:30pm. During camp, campers will get the opportunity to participate in a variety of different activities, and educational experiences involving animals and farming.
We offer the following activity/sports :
Badminton
Volleyball
Soccer
Basketball
Playground
Field games such as:
horseshoe
bocce ball
spike ball
corn hole
Full size bounce castle that includes activities like soccer,basketball, and twister.
Animal husbandry education:
Campers will learn about the feeding, caring, and socializing of our animals.
Garden education:
We will have hands on time where campers will learn about growing and maintaining the various kinds of vegetables that we have on the farm.
“Save the bees” education:
We will teach the campers about the crucial roles bees play in our ecosystem. They will also learn about the set up and maintenance of the hive and the different roles that bees have within their colony .
The bounce castle will be set up for 1 hour daily. The campers will have access to it under staff supervision.
Campers will be expected to bring their own food. There will be a designated area for campers to wash their hands before and after eating.
