About
Turda Farms was founded in 2013 and is operated by Jonathan and Georgiana Turda as a passion project turned countryside sanctuary in Mono, Ontario. Trading city life for the great outdoors, the couple has transformed their love for animal rescue into a thriving refuge.
Today, we’ve opened our gates to become the ultimate rural escape, combining a peaceful campground, a working farm, and an interactive petting zoo. From rare heritage livestock to rescued exotics like our lemurs and foxes, our farm is a place where animal care meets outdoor adventure.
Our mission is to share the healing power of nature. Through hands-on animal interactions and peaceful nights under the stars, we provide a therapeutic space for guests to unplug, rejuvenate, and fall in love with animal conservation.

Yes. We sell seasonal vegetables at our farm stand (such as onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes depending on availability). We are also working on adding more local products from nearby vendors.
